Law 4/2013, which includes professional associations, introduced the dual system of professions in the Italian economic and professional sector: on the one hand, the world of Order Professions and on the other, that of non-Order Professions or those not regulated in Orders or Colleges. Both with equal dignity.

In this context, Law 4/2013 assigns to Professional Associations a new, central role of great responsibility, which involves various areas and is closely linked to the professional segment of reference.

A primary role is the PROTECTION OF REGISTERED PROFESSIONALS, the ENHANCEMENT of skills and the REPRESENTATION of category instances, in all political and institutional forums.

At the same time, Law 4/2013 recognises the function of professional associations as a supervisory body and verifies the professional updating of their members, compliance with the Code of Ethics – Deontology from which derives the right of the Associations to be able to qualify the services offered by their members.

Consequently, the Professional Association, in the market in which it operates, plays the role of guarantor, to protect the consumer citizen, who through the Citizen’s Desk of the Association, can acquire information on the profession represented, be facilitated in the choice and protected in any litigation.

All this requires that the Professional Association has an adequate organizational and structural structure and is constantly evolving, in order to play a real strategic role together with professionals in the development of the economic and professional system of our country.

All this, is the FAIP world.
