The Guglielmo Marconi University is the first “open” University, recognized by the MIUR with Ministerial Decree of 1 March 2004, which combines “distance” training methodologies (printed material, handouts, CD Rom, e-learning platform) with frontal training activities (lectures, seminars, workshops, review and in-depth sessions) in order to achieve the best learning results for the student.

The Guglielmo Marconi University was promoted in 2001 by the Interuniversity Consortium “Training for Communication” (FOR.COM.) and the TERTIUM Consortium, formed by the Cassa di Risparmio di Roma, WIND, the Interuniversity Consortium “Training for Communication” (FOR.COM.), CARISBO, N.T.A. S.r.l. Subsequently, in 2004, the Consortium was transformed into the TERTIUM Foundation, which obtained the recognition of legal personality,  and whose purpose is represented by the establishment and support of the Guglielmo Marconi University.

In 2006 the University also obtained the support of the Marsilio Ficino Foundation, which has legal personality, and is aimed exclusively at promoting “e-learning” training initiatives. The University, which is a non-state public university, is registered in the National Research Registry of the Ministry of Education, University and Research, in which it participates with its structures, centers and research laboratories. Enrolment in degree courses remains open all year round. The Academic Year begins on July 1st and ends on June 30th.

 Bachelor’s Degree in Psychological Sciences and Techniques
 Bachelor’s Degree in Education and Training Sciences Master
 ‘s Degree in Psychology
 Master’s Degree in Pedagogy

The agreement allows each member of FAIP Italia Counseling to benefit from a 10% discount on university fees (excluding regional tax for the right to study, stamp duty and secretarial fees). Any training credits (relating to previous activities and studies) will be evaluated on the basis of the individual personal path (DM 270/2004).
